i worked 11 hours today;
after which, i was alone,
i then picked up my phone;
there was a recording that was just,
it said insert password you must;
insert password i did,
and acess was granted to the lid,
my platooned face showed signs of wilt,
until the voice of charm put me on a tilt;
i cracked a smile,
ranging for mile,
when i realized the message of new,
was from my love, that's you.

i love that people are going to come on here and talk about how excellent last night was for them.
in reality, i left because i felt sick to my stomach about how we all get so excited over something like that. sure, do it to have fun. which i did. but in excess? i just had to leave. something rubbed me the wrong way.
