so...i'm learning spanish and japanese AT THE SAME TIME! it's pretty exciting. actually...martin is taking japanese and he'll say something in japanese and i'll answer back in spanish, so the more i talk in spanish the more i learn and remember from when i took the class in high school. it's spiffy....

but i joined this club called the "visual media guild" it basically is a whole bunch of mass comm majors that get together and plan workshops, fundraisers, and activities for campus. i am now officially the club administrator and the club photographer. so that way i can definetly be involved but not overload myself. i'm pretty excited though. the new vice prez. is really retarded....he has long blond hair and has a monotone voice...and he always talks. so it's really annoying. but i'm hoping that once we start having cabinet meeting and stuff that i can help him realize how lame he is...

but i like my new apartment so far. my roomates are both chinese. one of them is named Frankie and she just got baptized in the LDS church. She's actually from Cali, know nothing about China really, and she is a total gossip queen. my other roomie doesn't speak english very well but i think she's warming up to me slowly. her name is Ulie. Frankie actually started sending the missionaries over to see us both though, which really pisses me off. It doesn't piss me off that they're religous or anything, I think it's just really disrespectful that they think it's okay that they can invite themselves to MY apartment when Frankie isn't home and quiz me about my beliefs. So yesterday when they came they were asking if I went to church or anything and I just told them straight up what I thought. I really hope they don't come back again.

my theory is you can meet me on campus, on the street, wherever. But my home is my home...i pay the rent and the bills... so meet me anywhere else and i'll talk to you and tell you what i think but stay away from my home.

anyways, i better get to class...

adios!!!
