wow its been a while since i have updated anything so heres some.....
So how is everyone doing? good i hope. i miss everyone so much yet i am having the time of my life here. i love Brenau and everything that goes with it. i love my friends that i have met and my rommmate amanda too. i thought that going to an all girls school would be difficult but with the support group that i ahve here, its not so bad.
in meeting new people, on and of campus, i have found a new aspect in meeting them. its weird and hard to explain but i dont look at things the same way anymore. i find the beauty in everything and everyone; from when a friend is crying to when i sit down and talk to a new person at a party. i notice things that i would usually not notice. time seems to stand still in foul gainesville, ga, the home of the mullets and eye googlers. its weird....just that.
i ahve some good news, well i think it is and some people might agree with me. i have joined an awesome sorority called Alpha Chi Omega, which the name stands for: Alpha- the first music fraternity (most sororities were started as a fraternity, dont ask me why); Chi - is "and": and Omega means the "end" b/c the founders thought that it would be the last of its kind. my sorority has so much meaning to me and historical background as well. every sorority on every campus is different and thats why i treasure mine. its unique in its own way. we are a diverse group of girls so no drama in this house!! i just wish that i could express more waht alpha chi omega means to me but i cant until i am initiated.
also i am in the running for Miss Brenau!!!! its a scholarship opportunity but its much more then that. its a way for me if chosen to be miss brenau to share my platform with the south. Domestic violence awareness is my platform and well as my sorority's philanthropy. it would be awesome to spread my knowledge with others as well as awareness. anyways, miss brenau is alot like miss america b/c duh its a pagaent!!! i'm going to dance for my talent (no brainer there) but i ahve no idea what i should dance to.... i will have to talk to my advisor, whos my dance teacher, plus ms. wilson. they would both be able to help me, also jenna knight my great grand big, she would be able to too.....u can tell that i havent really thought this out.
my grades are good all a's and b's maybe one c but it will be ok. b/c i'll have a 3.1 or maybe alittle bit higher (pray). i'm making good grades on tests and in dance classes. i have been in one concert for far for the comp. 2 class. i was in my friend shelly's piece that the theme was how we want to be independent but unknowingly depend on others for things.it was an amazing piece that i am privilaged to be apart of. and everyone else that choreographed and performed did amazing as well!!! we have a talented group here at Brenau.
ohh ya'll are going to laugh at this.....i'm in the dance fraternity Tau Sigma, which is all hip hop dancing.....hehe i'm the only white girl that can do the moves quite well they said. no dont get me wrong there are other white girls in it, like three others, but they are jsut kind of special. oh one girl at the audition, when we were improving for 16 counts, she kept fucking punching me in the face!!!!! she doesnt know how to dance without hitting someone!!!! i got her back though.... when we had the tau sigma coming out party, i accidently tripped her going on stage but it was ok she wasnt hurt or anything. trust me i'm not a bad person jsut payback is a bitch and i was the bitch b/c my left face cheek was swollen b/c of her!!! grrrrrrrrr......its ok now i'm over it.
anyway oh dance classes but ya'll want to here bout those? they are going great!! my left ankle had been acting up for alittle bit but its ok, its better now. i love my modern class and my ballet and hell even improv. they are too challenging but jsut enough that i'm always sore for some reason and my ass looks amazing from mr/ greene's butt buster workout that we do four times a week. i will be showing ms. wilson them and the rep class. watch out girls ur ass is mine bwahahahahahahah!!! j/k, but they will be sore!
