who's ready for finals?... not me
yesterday was a very busy day...
went to the mall around 4. i drove, and for once, i wished i took the bus. (1) it took forever to exit the freeway. (2) i was circling the parking lot for at least 10min. everyone was lookin for a space. i knew i wasnt gonna find a spot so i left the lot, but i wasnt goin home yet, cuz that woulda been a waste of time to even get there. i decided to go park in the residential areas about a block away, even though there was a sign that "parkin is limited to residents only" but really, who's gonna come and check on each car.
when i finally got into the mall, geez so many people. i guess i never really did my xmas shoppin on a sat but i dont remember it being like that ever. cash register lines were sooo long, i was about to give up. but hah! i ended up stayin there for about 2.5 hrs and managed to find some gifts for people... and of course stuff for myself. :)
got home around 7 and picked up megan and tony to go find a korean market. heh after driving around on el camino real, tony realized we were in the wrong city. gah damn! thanks alot, when i'm driving too. o well, we just went into a random korean market, and we got some of the stuff we wanted... no korean sushi though :(
dinn dinn... then the student union! they were havin some customer appreciation day, and wow! it was pretty cool. i dont think they've ever done this b4 but they had discount games, were giving out prizes, and free snacks. we played a game of cyberbowl. heh fun fun. a scores were still kinda lame but o well... i blame it on tony for distracting me and makin me get 4 gutters!! oh yea and they were playin old skool stuff. ah the memories... which is why i had to go dl some brandy today.
ddr! they brought it back!! we havent played it in so long. 75c for 4 stages. awesome! hehe we were so out of shape though. tired after like 3 stages. but wow, i think we're getting addicted again.
then a little bit of pool with roddy and his friend. uh non-interesting story short... yea too weird. so after like 2 games, we decided to go play time crisis. only 50c! i guess it's a good thing we didnt go to d&b's after all. i'm getting alot better at it too. i survived on those 50c for long time... i think i cleared 2 areas and almost the 3rd... except the huge helicopter thing killed me. hehe, i was so close to killing him, but i ran out of machine gun bullets. i used like 100+. oh what a waste. and who says girls dont play video games!
came home and... got drunk! ok no not really. i challenged tony to some drunken checkers. we mixed the shots (as always) with vodka and gatorade so they werent full shots. i beat tony! but we pretty much drank the same amount. but i was barely buzzed. then we watched harold and kumar! tehe, can't get enough of that movie. john cho. need i say more?
and today... woke up with a massive headache. i guess i didn't have enough liquid, but u would think that gatorade would have cancelled out the alcohol messin with ur body. haha yea right, i just thought of that this afternoon. otherwise, we did absolutely nothing. ok maybe a little studying and went to albertsons. finals are comin up, and its horrible. i dont feel like doin anything, and thinking too much about everything sucks. i shall go running later on. get rid of this sick feeling.
