the weekend

Weekend was awesome…
…Friday…
I broke the car. Maybe I’m just not meant to have it. ok ok no I didn’t break it, but the radiator went out. It was just getting old. Luckily it happened when I got home. Megan was with me and we were freakin out. Cuz the hood was smoking and the green stuff was leakin. I didn’t wanna really call my dad, cuz it might make him worry for no reason, so I had megan call tony. But then luckily the neighbor was outside, so I had him check it out for me. So phew! No worries. ooo i forgot to say that my dad actually mentioned gettin a new car for me cuz he doesnt want all these probs to arise while i'm driving. it prob still be a corolla, but still! ok lets not get my hopes up, but i'll tell u it's real when my dad transfers in a shitload of money into my checkin account. yay!
Took the bart into sf, and we had yummy crab!! My uncle bought 5 of them!! Oh and did I mention how cute my cousins are?! The littlest one, bry, is so hilarious. I almost choked on my caprisun laughin at him. He’s like 3 or 4 and I was talking to him about random stuff. He said he played dodgeball at school. I was surprised cuz I didn’t think he was goin to school yet, but I asked who his friends were. He mentioned a tyler and that “he’s Spanish, but not really” haha huh?! “aren’t u Spanish but not really too?” then he got distracted by the tv so I didn’t bother him anymore. Later I asked his mom about him goin to school. And she said … “no. he doesn’t go until jan.” but I didn’t tell her about the friend. Weird kid, maybe its an imaginary friend that’s kinda like him? And how could he be playin dodgeball then? That kid talks too much.
…Saturday…
…was my 2nd cousin’s one month old baby party. We had a lunch buffet at the moonstar on market. I haven’t been there in ages. And haven’t seen that extended side of the family for over a yr. so when they all saw me, I had to talk about my Australia trip again. Ah but it’s always fun reliving it. k back to the food. Mmmm seafood heaven!! Barely touched the usual Chinese food cuz it just seemed so greasy. But… I had 2 full plates of clams. 2 full plates of shrimp cocktail. Some lobster and oysters. Sushi… lots of unagi. Hehe my family likes to laugh at me. Yea it may be embarassin comin back with a plate full of the same thing, but damn it was good. And for dessert… chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered marshmallows, flan (that wasn’t so great), and cookies. They had yummy ice cream (mango, lychee…) but I wasn’t in the mood for any. Oh yea and they had tofu fa but my mom said it wasn’t great. I might have missed some stuff, but yea I can eat a lot. Hehe my uncle was like, "damn nancy! U prob scare all ur dates away with ur eating."
then the usual costco weekend. hehe but this time we had our cousin with his. he would not leave the video games section! boys. when we finally got him away, we were in the books section. so he grabbed a book and walked while reading. he was so slow in following us, we decided to put him in the cart. hehe i remember doin that when i was little. that's the only reason i loved goin grocery shoppin... cuz i got to read books while they pushed me in the cart!

cleaned up the house, put up xmas decorations. seriously, i felt like a housewife that day. freakin newspapers all over the house. then... you'll be proud of me. came back to sj, and went jogging with tony. figured i should do some exercise since i ate so much this weekend. it's bad enough that i hate running, but in the cold it's even worse. my throat hurt after cuz of the cold air. anyways, i could only go around half the campus but i'm workin it up. in fact just a half hr ago, i went myself, and did the whole campus. ok... i was walkin half the time, but still. i'm doin good. now my entire body is sore! ... ps. tony's a good trainer, cuz i hate him when he's makin me do hard situps and pushups!
