*XANGA ENTRY*
well thursday was my second teen group event to plan. & lemme say it was mondo hectic but all in all it ended well. since i didnt have speech this week i kinda hung around prep while we waited for alli to get out of class b/c we took her w/ us. it was kinda funny b/c almost as soon as we got there i went to open my trunk & gabe just like rolled in it. haha funny kid. but anyway, we finally got organized w/ the driver's & everything & then we got the parking situated after a while haha. i rode w/ mrs. marshall & hannah to the convention center. it was a nice ride. =) ethan & seth's mom is so nice. anyway uh we worked for like 4 freakin hours & i was so proud of everyone! then we went back to brother's pizza [sorta late] & i eventually did my devotion which i was SOOOOOOO nervous about!! but hannah is so wonderful, she always knows what to say to make me feel better about anything & everything. thanks bunches!!
we didnt leave brothers till like 8:35 & idk if u know but my dance class is on thursdays at 8:30. i felt so bad for being late to my 2nd class, but my teacher is so nice, she understood. i was so tired i didnt' wanna go at 1st & i was really shaky from still being nervous, but it really helped me. i was a LOT more relaxed when i got out. i had to change into diff clothes when i got there but i didnt wanna change in the studio so i changed in the car, but there was this dude in a car like 2 spots next to us!!! i was like...UH...ok w/e but he was chekin himself out in the mirror so it didnt matter. i found out my recital is MAY 21 @ 7PM so, u can come to my first recital since i was 8 if ya wanna.
after that very stressful day i woke up this morning to find my beautiful brand new guitar on the porch!!! i was so excited. it was like the perfect way to end the day. =)i didnt even notice it in the dark when i got home from dance the nite before.
yesterday was my 1st day back to co-op since i ditched for the scavenger hunt last week. it felt really diff to actually be there. idk why. but we got into an interesting conversation in history. 1) colin kept calling gandhi a pansy. for those of you who don't know, gandhi was the man who helped India get its independence from Britain in like the 40's. He used nonviolence & i guess colin doesnt agree w/ that or w/e. but i was tired of hearing him badmouth gandhi [which he did a LOT btw] so i told colin i would listen to him after HE'D freed a nation. i thought that would shut him up, but it didnt haha. 2) we got into an argument/discussion about looking down on other nations or cultures & the imperialistic mentality a lot of European countries have toward asian, oriental, african, middle eastern & other cultures. it amuses me, but some people get REALLY REALLY sensitive.
then last nite was lindsay's party!!! i had SOOOOOOO much fun. wow.....if i had a video camera i would so have recorded what i did. but i g2g so i'll tell yall bout it later.
