feathers swoop
birds as of late making my heart beat faster with happiness...swallows darting coasting twirling about...golden finches playing and singing in the sunflowers...a big swooping waterbird (heron?) flying overhead this morning. things with wings resonate with me.
just as squash dies out, the tomatoes come on full force - tuesday we harvested 1200 pounds and we expect the same tomorrow...the harvest house is full of them. we have plnated a godd deal of our fall crops this week which has meant long days - luckily it's been mostly breezy and overcast - this evening i even started feeling kind of cold outside.
last night the moon shone into my little sun bright as the sun.
i'm looking forward to a weekend with my love - with the house pretty much to ourselves.
