okay, i work for a foundation that gets money for abused, abandoned elderly and children in Mexico. It obviously is a good thing to help people in this kind of desperate situation. But the catch is I can absolutely not stand the guy that is the head of all this. I have had problems with him from the start dealing with misscomunications on his part dealing with paying me back money he promised. I only have to email him once a month with my updates wich he says are for the board of directors. All the board of directors are soley volunteers and then it is Him. So basically the Foundation is this guy I cant stand. I very rarely get a response to my monthly updates unless I write something sad about the kids I am working with and he thinks I should make it into a story for donors. He does absolutely nothing to try and support what we the volunteers are doing and has no idea what is going on at the mission sites he supports monetarily. At the last retreat we had I dug into him for not even staying at our mission site to oversee some of the problems we were having. His response was he "does not like kids and they make him uncomfortable." To tell this to volunteers that he hires and talks all sentimental to about Children is just ridiculous, he is a big fake. He seems most interested in making the money and taking names of people that have money or connections. How can I and future voluteers be expected to work doing a job for kids putting our whole self in the job everyday with him being uninterested and unsupportive. I cannot count on him for anything at all, I asked him to be a reference for me and he told the people he was not sure how I was with kids that they need to call a sister in Mexico. Ridiculous, he hired me to do just that care for children and he delegates it to some overworked Nun that cannot speak English and hardly has time to eat. I cannot even stand this guys big white shoes or the way he continues to wear his fanny pack in Mexico.
