Hey folks.
So I need some suggestions about a new dentist. It should be noted that I have some major issues with dentists and although you may think your dentist is OMG AWESOME plz be sure they meet these minimum qualifications, then suggest away :D
1. must not be a creeper. This includes but is not limited to people who: huff on the nitrous in the back, have ever seemed drunk on the job, have ever been accused of fondling of the boobies while patients are out. (THIS IS SRS) Would you leave this person alone with your child? If so, then we're good.
2. must be extremely patient. I am not afraid of pain from dental work, I am afraid of proceeding without know what to expect-so throw honest into that. Someone who is willing to explain what they will do BEFORE they do it and won't just shove their grubby hands into my mouth within the first five minutes of meeting him/her.
3. Must not have an office that looks like a 1970's horror movie set. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. the last dentist I went to did-including the rusting metal chair.
NOW! If you have a dentist who meets those minimum qualifications plz provide me their name and the name of their practice plz. I am going to make an appointment for after the first of the month but some places are busy so I figure i better plan ahead! Let me just put a disclaimer on here that I'm not a sissy-I had a root canal when i was four years old, years of orthodontia and many painful teeth extractions- it is that I had two bad experiences recently after my dentist retired and I REALLY want to avoid that in the future and this is important to me because I don't want to develop any anxiety over the dentist I guess.
ok thnx guys!!!!!!
