friends only.

I don't have a friending policy. If you're interested in reading my entries and you think we may have some common ground, then go ahead and add me and we'll see where it goes, yeah? Super. Do leave a comment if you friend me, otherwise I probably won't notice.

This is a very very very belated reply... I was in the middle of exams when you posted your comment & too busy to sit down and reply properly, then when my exam week ended my dad had to go to the hospital (he's fine now, thankfully, but it was scary for a while). Anyway. Better late than never, right? It's been years, those few extra weeks shouldn't matter.

I'm really, really good. Maybe the best I've ever been. I had some rough years after we lost touch; I was depressed, and I even dropped out of uni for a few years, but I'm back now and I should get my bachelor's this year. After that I hope to move on to a research master, if I get accepted. After THAT... I don't know yet. I live in Leiden in a student house that's falling apart and doesn't have a washing machine, but it's affordable and it's right in the centre, walking distance from everything. Love life's so-so, plenty of flings but no one I'm wild enough about to start a relationship with. Luckily I don't mind being single one bit. (Maybe that's the problem, haha.)

I haven't listened to Elbow in a while, but I do still enjoy them. My friend is going to see them play next month I think, I'm jealous! They're not coming to the Netherlands other than for a festival in Brabant, though, and much as I love them I'm not spending €65 on a day ticket just for them. Speaking of crazes, I can't stop listening to Les Miserables songs this week for some reason, and I've never even seen the film/musical.

Where do you live these days? Two master's, wow. Which two? :)

Btw I'm on facebook and twitter as poppykicker if you want to chat there. My twitter's mostly sports-related though so follow at your own risk. ;)

Exams! You study! That's good.
Too bad you were depressed. It runs in my family, so I know a bit how it looks like :( Good that you're better now!! And your dad.
Are you doing an English (major) bachelor? Hah, plenty of flings, that's always great... there is nothing wrong with being single. :) I heard Les Mis is very good, although sounds like a though story to me.

I live in Leiden as well. I live right behind the university library. Which is where I am atm.
I'm doing a Research Master Clinical & Health Psychology, and a Clinical Master (als Psychology). So I can become a scientist as well as a therapist. Although I probably don't want to become a therapist, so I'm not sure whether or not I will do an internship for the latter.

I don't use Twitter and I still don't have Facebook (if I don't absolutely need to, I won't make an account). But I will check them out :)

Yep, still doing English. It's what I love. I've started writing my BA thesis now and it's been really stressful, but really enjoyable as well. I get along well with my supervisor so that's a bonus (she took all her thesis kids out for drinks earlier in the week! it was fun/weird to interact with a teacher in that setting, though it got harder to say intelligent stuff as the drinks kept coming...).

Ooh, I live about halfway between the station and the university. We should grab a coffee at Lipsius sometime! I only mentioned FB and twitter because they seemed like more effective places to talk to each other than my dead LJ account. Though I suppose this works if you don't mind me procrastinating on replying for a month. ;)
