friends only.

I don't have a friending policy. If you're interested in reading my entries and you think we may have some common ground, then go ahead and add me and we'll see where it goes, yeah? Super. Do leave a comment if you friend me, otherwise I probably won't notice.

Can we be friends? I'm not really sure we have any interests in common other than Tim Gutterson, but the way your phrase your mod posts always makes me laugh out loud, and I think I would enjoy having more of that on my f-list every now and then.

Absolutely! I should mention I don't post here much these days, but I should probably start trying more. Spending as much time on twitter as I do is in no way beneficial to my essay-writing. Complete sentences are hard, yo.

Things we have in common, at a glance: Joyce, Eliot, Woolf. Supernatural. Greek Mythology. I'm willing to overlook your apparent Suits preference because my distaste for that show has very little to do with the show itself. Also, listing your father as #1 on your list of things you love instantly propelled you into my high regard. Being a daddy's girl is my #1 interest in life.

(Oh god I haven't been on LJ in so long. WHAT IS THIS COMMENT PAGE.)

Yay, friends! I only make about five non-fic posts a year so no pressure to up your LJ output just because I LOVE THE WAY YOU TALK or anything. No pressure at all.

In my defence I only like two characters in Suits and they happen to be the two characters the fandom hates, so I just write a lot of fics about them and force people to admit they're not impossible to like. I haven't actually watched all of the episodes. I do that a lot.

Also, yes, dads dare the best, dads forever.

NO PRESSURE IS GOOD. I am good under no pressure.

I watched about six episodes of Suits, I think? It was okay, but Franklin & Bash is the fluffy summery lawyer show OF MY HEART and I never forgave my f'list for going batshit over Suits instead. And now I resent Suits' general existence. Irrationally. Because Franklin & Bash is AWFUL. But SO DELIGHTFUL.

Loooooooool, funny you should say Franklin & Bash...because I am a fairly active member of franklin_bash. Or, I was, before I started working on my thesis and now I watch no television but Justified and don't go online very much. Boo. But yes, I enjoyed F&B too! I think I liked the characterizations a lot more on F&B, but Suits had a betterconcept/premise and tone/feel for me.

I look forward to the completion of your thesis, for you are clearly an excellent human who needs to be around my corner of the internet more. (I still have a year before I have to start on mine, but considering how much angsting I'm doing over this 3000 word Joyce essay, I am emphatically not looking forward to it.)

Ugh, F&B is my happy place. Suits is indeed a superior show in many ways, but the reason I gave up on it is that I just didn't give a damn about any of the characters. The reason I stuck with F&B and will for as long as they let it stay on air is that ... it's rubbish but I love EVERYONE on it.
