Aboard a ship

As some can see, my website has been down for a while. This was unintentional, and I really hope I get access back to it as soon as possible. If things go differently, I will be back with a new domain name - admittedly, "twincow" isn't exactly the kind of domain one should get to be recognised later on.

In the meanwhile, I have started to do quick sketches, and found myself a bunch of Andrew Loomis books to pick up on my anatomy. I am still unfortunately down with my artist block. Coupled with coming home at 8 pm, there's really nothing else I'd rather do but relax. These sketches are a way of keeping me in shape, and touch up my skills while I save myself for a grand piece.

Regarding portfolios, I am going to have to pick up my pace, block or not. I decided to apply to atleast two universities - each of them require original works. I still haven't received my portfolio from Leipzig, but I'm making plans that it is later sent to the Art Academy in Dusseldorf, while I think of more impressive pieces for the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig. Submitting copies to a few Canadian universities is another answer, but I'm afraid I'm not going to consider them seriously unless I get a 100% scholarship.

I have a bunch of sketches saved up, you can find them in my ConceptArt.org sketchbook under the username "watermonster".
