Keeping Busy

I have two weeks to the faculty art show. I have three solid paintings from my painting class completed and ready to go - I went to class last night and fought the good fight with a painting - learning a lot - but losing. I really can't complain, because last week I knocked out a good one that I am still very proud of.

Set yourself a goal of saving up for and investing in the best press you can realistically afford (probably not the $15K one). If you sell any of your prints, the cost of the press is a tax deduction. Likewise, if you start selling shit, you can deduct materials, dues for printmaking societies, even some of your rent (if your studio is in it) and computer costs. I can't wait for your show!
