Vacation!!
Craig and I are finally getting to go on our offical honeymoon. We are headed east with eventually ending up at his family's farm. We are going via Falling Water in Pennsylvania and New York City for a couple of days. We are going to spend 5 days at the farm. I can't wait to get on the road.
This summer had been so incredibly busy. We have opened three new stores in my zone this summer and are opening a 4th on Friday. We are opening another two weeks from Friday. So much goes into a new store opening. Our grand opening events are big deal for us. I am actually missing the one in two weeks as I will be on vacation. Oh well, glad to be missing that one. I have my last one for this year in December with another new store in Rochester. Oh yeah, and in the middle of all that, remember we got married!
Our wedding pictures should be in soon. The pictures turned out OK. I kinda wished for something different. Our photographer was a really nice person, but she had never taken a same sex wedding. It isn't that she was uncomfortable, but I don't think that she got it as far as the romantic shots. I think that it would have been easier for her if I would have told her to treat me like the girl! At least for people placement. Most of the shots make us look like brothers. We were able to put together a nice album though. I think that everyone complains about their wedding pictures anyway. I guess that if we really wanted to, we could rent the tuxes again and have more photos shot. That isn't going to happen.
