“See, that’s what I don’t get, Dean,” Sam mused, looking thoughtfully from his laptop screen to the myriad of open books surrounding him.
“What’s that?” Dean prompted after the silence stretched too long.
“All the evidence,” he finally continued, “points towards a puck; but pucks aren’t generally this savage…”
“Well, the stiff now occupying his own personal slab in the morgue suggests otherwise.”
“That’s just it! I have never heard of a puck inflicting so much damage, with a traction engine no less…” Sam spared a disgusted thought at the mess.
“Maybe this one was feeling especially homicidal?” Dean shrugged.
