Do you know what I miss more than anything right now? I miss coming home from work and having someone there. Someone to ask me how my day went. Someone to listen and encourage me when my day sucks, and to smile and be happy for me when it doesn't suck so much. I know, I know...kind of corny. But hey, I'm in a corny kind of mood.
I skipped yoga tonight, needed to rest. Damn computer is taking over all of my time. Last night I went to bed at 3 a.m. That wouldn't have been so bad, except that my alarm was set for 7 a.m. Needless to say, I overslept. Two hours later, I jumped out of bed, took literally a three minute shower, and was out the door. I even managed to be only a half an hour late for work. I'm not really sure how that happened, but hey--I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. (By the way, if anyone can explain that to me I would be forever indebted to you).
Anyway. Whatever. So, how sad is this. Actually, its kind of annoying, but still...I own this nice 1999 Dodge Ram. Okay, technically Sean and I own the 1999 Dodge Ram, but still. I am still making payments on said truck. I say that I am making payments, cause, well...I am the one ohysically making the payments. Anyway. Our house is down this long dirt driveway. It's in an amazing location, and I generally have no problem with it. Except for on Tuesdays. You see, Tuesdays are when the garbagemen come to collect the garbage and recycling. Again, not normally such a big deal. Especially for one with a truck. You just load up your full trashcans and recycling bins into the bed of the truck, and bring them to the end of the driveway. What could be simpler? Then, at the end of the day you load up the empty trashcans and containers and bring them back to the house. Easy as pie, right? Well, that is unless your mother and father-in-law have decided to keep the truck that you are making payments on. Yes, they have been using the truck, and although I have asked for it back on numerous occasions, I have always been put off.
Today my sister called to ask to use the truck, seems her husband needs it for something. So I had to call Sean's mom and ask to use our truck yet again.
Ain't life a bitch?
