I should be writing. I know that I should be writing, but I just can't seem to get my mind to settle on what I should specifically be writing about. One good thing to come from all of the writing I've been doing is the fact that I now have a creative outlet. I may not be any good, but damnit it makes the time fly. That is one thing that I am extremely grateful for. Well, that and Mentos (thanks ki_caelum)!
Went out to dinner tonight with some friends, and had some drinks, so I am feeling kind of blah. The dinner itself was fantastic, although I only ate one quesadilla, and the company was phenomenal. But the margaritas always kind of get me. I had this great Raspberry/Strawberry margarita on the rocks which kicked ass! The sugar that rimmed the glass was just the right amount, and added that little bit of sweetness to it. It was, in a word, divine. However, by the third one I wasn't caring so much about the amount of sugar on the glass, or if there was even any at all. Oh well.
Going to a cookout tomorrow. Should be fun, I think. If nothing else it'll get me out of the house and into the sunshine. The one thing I am severely lacking this year is a tan. Until they invent a way to get a tan from the glow of the computer monitor I think I'm pretty much screwed. *sighs* Unless I actually go outside with a blanket, a book and a bottle of Baby Oil. Heh. I'm not thinking that is going to happen any time soon. Although I suppose stranger things have happened. I just haven't heard of them, I guess.
Okay well, gotta jet...should be writing...Oh by the way, thanks to bitingfrenzy for the quiz. Helped to pass a little time...
