(no subject)
My little sister is getting married in 4 days. yeesh. Its crazy. I'm so excited.
I'm at work right now writing a toast. And its pullin at the heart strings. I know I will cry the day of. Hopefully not too much, and hopefully not during the ceremony. But I know I will.
I was looking around for some ideas for a toast and am pretty sure I'm going to use this quote that I found about sisters. It kinda sums up our relationship/childhood perfectly: "Sisters is probably the most competitive relationship within the family but once the sisters are grown, it becomes the strongest relationship." -Margaret Mead.
My sister and I have always had a strange relationship. Generally me trying to be the big sister and help or protect, (or tell her what to do) and her always being very independent and stubborn and not wanting any help.
Anyway... not surewhere I was going with this post. But this week is going to be nuts. I spent a few hours last night working on stuff for my portfolio so I'm starting to feel a little better about that. Tomorrow I have to go to a review session for the portfolio review. Thursday I come in to work at 8 for a couple hours. Then out to the airport to pick up my cousin Jeni. Thursday night we are going out for a bit. Friday morning, mani/pedi's with the bridal party. Friday evening, the rehearsal dinner. Saturday I have to be to the hotel by 6:30 for make-up and hair. Then pictures, then the wedding, then the reception. Its going to be a long day. Then Sunday morning, breakfast at Mother's. Jeni will be with me until Wednesday morning next week, so that will be fun, but definitely hard considering how much I have to do for the review. Eek!
