Day 10 - Best gameplay.
I am not going to use the exactly correct definition of gameplay for this answer, okay, just deal with it. (The exact definition encompasses everything, and I completely ignored aspects like PLOT while choosing my answer. This is partly because AUGH CHOICES and partly because there is a day for "best story" later. I guess I am looking more at playability or something, here. TOO MUCH TERMINOLOGY. ME JUST PLAY GAME.)
BUT ANYWAY!
Kingdom Hearts! I love the hell out of just playing those. I mean, sure, it's mostly just a whole lot of button mashing, but it is fun button mashing! Hitting things with a massive key until they dissolve into particles of darkness: surprisingly satisfying.
(Other things you can do include: running! Rolling! Jumping! Gliding! Getting lost in jungles and other neat places! Flying spaceships! Running around with Disney characters! Getting your ass kicked by Final Fantasy characters, at least until you are stronger than them!)
Sure, there have been other games that I've found myself loading up just to kill in (and sometimes that thing being killed is just time), but, geez. You've got pretty good freedom of movement (for a SE game), and the animations are smooth, and you can sort of customize your attacks with your weapon and ability choices, and it's just fun. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've run through the Hades Cup in the first game.
There are a bunch of games that use different/most would say better gameplay that I would like to play, but a lot of them seem to be first-person view-point (mostly shooters) and I suck quite badly at that style (and at shooters in general), so instead I am just sad about it.
…My brother picked a couple sandbox-type games as potential candidates when I asked him what he thought, and, you know, while I do sometimes enjoy running around in sandbox-type games, I also find them kind of simultaneously over- and underwhelming (you may all be confused by my undying dedication to FFXI now, but I will again remind everyone that there is actually a storyline and that I do actually care about it).
... AND ANYWAY I'M BUSY YOU CAN'T EXPECT A REAL AND COHERENT ANSWER OUT OF ME.

OKAY BACK TO MANIKIN-LAND. @_@ Dissidia 012, how are you so much better than the first. SE, WHY DID YOU NOT MAKE THE FIRST GAME LIKE THIS, and then you could've improved it to a point of AMAZINGNESS but no instead the first game was kind of crap and now the second game just seems like AMAZINGNESS in comparison!
