Last night, we had a guest speaker come in and give a presentation on how to give presentations.
To "ease the tension" and give us something to keep our fingers busy, she handed out pipe cleaners. We could each take three.
Most people braided them together (why on Earth would you braid pipe cleaners? Oh, well) or twisted them in a circle or loops.
I made animals. They were supposed to be cats, but everyone called them dogs. The tails stand up more like cats. Whatever.
The first one I made was too large and I had to use a second pipe cleaner for the head, so it has a white body and a blue head. The second one I made smaller, since I only had the one pipe cleaner left. Except then someone noticed the first one and everyone was in awe.
I was just finishing my red critter, and the guest speaker handed me another pipe cleaner and asked if I could make another. So I made a green one.
Eventually, I ended up in front of the class teaching everyone how to make a pipe cleaner cat-dog thing.
