Almost the weekend
I never thought I'd say this, but it's good to be back in classes.
I've been thinking, and I think I want to learn how to drive a car. We didn't have that kind of thing back home, since the island was so small, but in a place like this they seem really useful. Does anybody know how you work them?
Our home computer's acting funny, as usual. This morning when I tried to turn it on, instead of the little happy computer face there was a picture of a disk with a blinking question mark. I tried turning it off and on again, but it just keeps doing it. And then I hit it, but that didn't seem to do much good either. I guess I'll have to go back to the guy I bought it from and find out what the problem is.
That leak in the kitchen sink is getting worse, and it's getting on my nerves. Maybe there's a book in the library that will tell me how to fix it. I'm sick of wasting water for no good reason.

With all the hints he was dropping, it would've been pretty easy for someone to figure out that Shaoran's from another world. I guess I just assumed that we were the only ones, so I didn't consider that Shaoran might be more like us than we'd thought. Heh, I hope I'm not that transparent. Though I think I messed up with Fai. He's been fine about it, though, so that's okay.
It makes sense, really. Explains even more why I feel at ease around him. I guess it's really lucky he bumped into me first, and not someone like Archer. Things could have gone badly for him.
I guess I don't mind if he stays with us for a while longer. I'd hate to give up that cooking, after all.
