Ho ho ho!
There is no midnight television post for this day change, only a soft voice speaking into a Dictaphone that you can't hear, and the house is suddenly turned into a Christmas miracle. There's stockings with everyone's name on them filled with small presents and candy (use your imaginations.) And below the three are the two sets of presents with your name on them. One set you feel compelled to open, and the presents are proper and whatever toy you've wanted. The other set you cannot touch however hard you want you.
And there's the man himself: It's Santa. He's sitting in a chair by the fire with a large "ho ho ho" as he watches you delightedly.
