WARNINGS/NOTES: Buffy has returned to Peaksville - at least, that's what everyone else will think. For her, it's a first arrival. She doesn't remember anything.
She'd spent the last ten minutes arguing with a man who didn't care a thing about what she had to say. He'd just ushered her out, away, and she was... standing. In the middle of a town she'd never seen, after being told she was a fictional character... Well.
Been there, done that. Crazy-Straightjacket-Buffy was an experience she'd already had. She wasn't buying it this time. She understood that she'd been kidnapped and that this was some totally whacked out alternate dimension of some sort. She got that she wasn't holding all the cards anymore. But not being real? Yeah, right.
Still, she was bewildered about where she was. She didn't understand it, or why she was here - and she'd left a lot of important unfinished business behind in Sunnydale. She needed to think. There had to be a way out - and if there wasn't? She'd make one.
But for now, she just sat at one of the benches, weapon in hand. She didn't have some super Scooby think-tank on her, so she just had to do it herself. It'd take a little bit longer, but she could think on her feet plenty on her own. She'd just need a minute. So she took one.
