Joan Harris never wore the same thing two days in a row, not even when she was Joan Halloway and her overnight visits would mean that she didn't have time to return home to change. Joan was always the sort of woman who carried an extra outfit in her purse, and while that had worked for the first day, she was currently in desperate need of at least two new outfits in order to make it through a week. No doubt Peaksville's styles were well past the current vogue, but it didn't stop her from deciding to venture to the store that she had passed with Don on the way in. If nothing else, Joan was in desperate need of cigarettes, and she suspected that Mr. Draper was as well.
