"You didn't listen, did you?"
The televisions clicked on again, early enough to wake most people up. West shook his head, eyes sparkling over a cup of coffee.
"And here I thought you'd be grateful for the little reprieve." The television showed Deb and Derek again, Jim and Michael looking for Fiona, the worried faces of the people gathered at the meeting. "I suppose it does take a lot, for some people. So I've done what I can to help you. Give you that extra little push. You know what's coming, don't you, Dr. Wilson?"
He smiled.
"You do now. The rest of you will find out soon enough. Enjoy your Indian Summer, too, while you have it. And do be careful with one another, won't you? It's a shame to keep having to replace you."
