And then there was the soft chiming of clocks all over Peaksville, and every room suddenly had a television once more. There appeared Mr. West, sitting and leaning rather casually against his desk. In his hand, he's holding a cocktail, and he raises it to his characters.
"You are rather good at taking everything extraordinary as normal, aren't you? I had hoped for more of a reaction then that. If you all keep this up, I'm going to be forced to up the stakes." There was a rather gleeful little look at that, and he strummed his fingers against the cocktail glass.
"More new arrivals," shots of Abbey and Fiona moving through Peaksville's Center, with Abbey being met by Kirk. "But some people don't listen very well..." And then there was a shot of Anthony pointed at Fiona and a close up of the change that had come over her face. "Well, I warned you about the Monster and now I'm pleased to see that you've had to interact with him at long last."
There's a pause and the image shows Fiona and Anthony playing, and he visibly calls her Mama. Then the picture is back to West and he rises. When he speaks again, his tone is more serious. "But not everything is as it appears to be." The the image shows Az being held by shadowy arms as the monkey bats surround her and force themselves inside her chest. Later, it shows her wandering around looking lost and crying for help. Then there are shots of her being dismissed by Martha, Michael, Kirk, and House and Wilson calling her evil.
"I'm rather disappointed in you, characters. We'll need to see what happens next, won't we? The weather for today will be colder, and you'll notice that the leaves in town are all orange and red. There are pumpkins around too. Welcome to Halloween in Peaksville, characters. And look out for things around every corner."
A pause. "And of course, with unexpected returns." A vision of Deb and Derek appearing in the square, dressed like people coming back from their Honeymoon.
