Day 40.
At midnight, all of the bells in the house and all over town start chiming. The notes are loud and they hang heavily in the cool, still air. Suddenly, every room that has someone in it in Peaksville has a television that turns on. (Even the movie theater screen turns into a giant television.) And there appears on it a man whom every single character in Peaksville should know: Mr. West. He's sitting on a stool before a fireplace, and he's touching a pair of scissors. When he speaks, his voice is quiet and rather unassuming.
"We've all had a rather eventful couple of months here in Peaksville, haven't we, my delightful characters. And the last few days have been exceptionally eventful. So many new arrivals, so many tapes burning out." Here West pauses, and one sees tapes with names on them being tossed into the fire. Dean Winchester, Ruby, Severus Snape, Adrian Monk, Max Guevara, Claire Bennet, Gabriel, Randal, Mack, all being tossed into the fire one by one. "
"I hope you do realize that this is serious now, and no about of ranting at me is going to make me change my mind.
"Yes, there's the little girl and the flying monkeys who are surrounding you, and all of the effects of the deal that were made. I want to remind you, I see everything that you do here." A small snippet of Derek, Deb, Morgan, Kirk and House in a room, before the light flashes and Deb and Derek disappear from a locked room. Another flash of Wilson passed out in a hallway after throwing up on Az's dress. Michael comforting Az, Don and Joan finding the bloody Doctor's office and Kirk angrily ranting at West himself.
"Things are going to keep on going, my characters. Today the weather is going to be cool and overcast, and there will be strange things in the sky. And just remember, watch out for Anthony. I understand he's not very happy about what one of you has been doing to his town."
There's a bit of a finger wave, and the television screens all go off.
