Wow, is it really Christmas Eve already? Crazy...

I still can't believe tomorrow's Christmas...my brain just refuses to accept that. Anyway, I'm still casting for my Romeo and Juliet radioplay, and I really really can't wait to cast, get lines out, and start mixing. Because it's going to be AWESOME. I'm constantly amazed by the quality of the auditions I've been getting. Although I have no idea how I'm going to choose just one voice actress for Juliet. Not only are they all awesome, they're all different interpretations of her character (that all work), which makes it twice as hard to choose. Although I think I found my Mercutio. :D Sometimes when casting for something like this, you hear the perfect voice and know instantly you have to cast that person as whatever character they auditioned for. That's pretty much what happened with Mercutio (I actually let out a little fangirl squeal, because Mercutio is one of my all time favorite Shakespeare characters and this guy nailed him). It happened when I was casting for my Trinity Blood radioplay too, although sadly it was for a character that isn't in volume 1 of that series. The guy was actually auditioning for Abel, but when I heard his voice I was like "Holy crap, it's Ion!". And then I was sad because I couldn't cast for Ion.

Hmm, there's still a week until the deadline I set for lines for my Trinity Blood radioplay, and I still need lines from four characters before I can start mixing the first episode. I don't want to bug my VA's, but still...*twitches*

In other news, I just found out I was cast as Edea in a Final Fantasy VIII meets Beauty and the Beast radioplay (from what I saw of the script in auditions, it's going to be high-larious). This is actually the second time I've been cast as Edea, since I'm also doing her voice in a dub of the game. I don't mind, since I enjoy playing her, I just find it kind of amusing.

I also might be playing Baralai in a Final Fantasy X radioplay, if no guys audition. This kind of scares me. I don't mind playing him, but I'd feel safer playing Yuna or Lenne. Oh well, it'd be a part, right?

Okay, I have to finish writing critiques for auditions for my Romeo and Juliet project. This is the last time I let auditions pile up like this.

ffx, romeo and juliet, ffviii, voice acting, auditions, final fantasy, shakespeare, radioplay, x-2
