Recently, a rumor has been circulating around TwilightU that vampire fashion, although very stylish, is too "edgy" for everyday wear, particularly in the University setting. The Fashion and Design department, under the supervision of Jasper Hale, would like to alleviate the apprehensive feelings of those who deem themselves fashionably inadequate, and assist them in recreating the much sought-after look. To illustrate the ease of pulling together appropriate ensembles, a diagram complete with explanation of current vampfash necessities has been made available below.
Introducing Perry Farrell, formerly of Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros. Mr. Farrell, in addition to currently serving as a vampfash supermodel, is a contributor to the absurdly popular soundtrack, Twilight. Mr. Farrell's soon-to-be hit single
is now available for your listening torment pleasure.
Back to vampfash, please observe the above picture and note the various elements of undead vogue, including:
- Metallic/sparkly pants. This look works on two levels. First, according to Alice, the alluring effects of metallic can never be underestimated (Note: This also goes for leather. Red leather pants in particular). Second, the sparkly sparkles of these pants give off the illusion of glittering vampire skin.
- Black and white stripes. As demonstrated by Rosalie's baseball socks, black and white stripes are chic, yet classic.
- The ascot. Carlisle has proved that elegance never goes out of style. From baseball scarves to smoking jackets, Carlisle is the authority on all that is dapper. Please also note the hairstyle that Mr. Farrell is rocking - I do believe Carlisle had a hand in that as well.
- Cowboy boots. Although the cowboy boots are not shown in the diagram above, we have inside information from Mr. Jasper Hale himself that Perry is indeed wearing western boots.
For those skeptical individuals, it is important to note that vampfash is very versatile and can be arranged in several different ways. Below are a few more examples of everyday wear, also modeled by Mr. Perry Farrell.
