My Twilight Twitch of the day... which turns out to not be about Twilight at all

So I wish I wasn't posting twice so close together, but it has to be done.  Sometimes, I wish the Twilight Lexicon would keep some "news" to themselves.

I was checking out their latest when I saw that there were a couple of news outlets that had stories posted/published on their websites.  Curious to a fault, I went ahead and read them.  One was about Twilight on a college website and the other was a story from Craig, CO, a cool 200 miles (and approximately 3.5 hours) from Denver...

This story, titled "The Host, a tale about relationships, second chances," is awful.

I'm not saying this because they downed The Host or anything.  Much the opposite.

But whoever wrote the article needs to take a course in entertainment writing.

She basically told the entire book's plotline within the article, thus ruining it for whatever reader might have taken an interest in it.  This article ensures that the Downtown Books store will not receive any eager buyers of the book... because they will figure out that they know most of the plotline.  There were only a few things left out.

The article also seems a bit stilted and.... something's just off.  It's the journalist in me to point this out I suppose.

Most of you are probably sitting there going, why do you care what a little town in Colorado writes about Stephenie Meyer?  I know, it seems insignificant, but Eclipse was almost ruined for me because of an article like that.  And it was in a well circulated paper in the capital city in my state and whoever wrote it, wrote about the battle between Edward and Victoria.

Gah!
