Lycaon
They are disbanding.
Right when I just started to like them.
arurukin recommended me their new album and I just literally love the songs from that album, especially the two ballads. Thank you for telling me about it! (Even though I didn't reply to her yet about this... But I've been listening to that album since that day. I had it on my phone too and listen to them only.)
After like 2 weeks of listening to them, all my negative feelings on them have disappeared. Yuuki is beautiful, haha super feminine and creepy but I like it!
But then, that's it. Yesterday, I read that they will disband. Reading Yuuki's message about the disbandment makes me want to cry. No, Lycaon was just a new fandom I'm starting to get into. I just can't .......
For their 7 years of activity, I only started liking them now even though I know about them since 2008. I couldn't have liked them any earlier though because it was their newest album that caught my attention.
I don't know. I can't hate them for disbanding because it must be hard for them as well and if it has to end, it must end.
I'm just sad over it. Why do I always end up liking a band and then sometime later, they disband or is already disbanded.
I thought liking Vivid and Lycaon would be "safe" because they've been around for more than 5 years. It seems like 7 years is the average active time for a band now?
There is no "safe" fandom in vkei music world.
Bands come and go.
That was one of the reasons why I left the vkei fandom once.
But I will never get used to it no matter what.
All I could say is it fate that I have watched Lycaon live once without meaning to seeing them.
At least I have memories of them from last year.
I am giving myself infinite stress from fandom and school.
