[Mod-Post] Best Friend vs. Party Buddy? (POLL)
I'm in the process of pre-making the applications before time (since, after August 10th, I'll be busy with my last semester in college) and I've got them all planned out (September is the only one written so far) except December.
Fortunately, this is where you come in! I was thinking that, in the spirit of holidays and its many parties, to make an application reflecting the "Twilight Party Buddy". A party buddy is basically the type of person you'd always want with you at a party for whatever reason. You'd want that person by your side in every event imaginable (birthdays, barbecues, holidays, dance club, etc.)
Now, the real question is... isn't that the same thing as a best friend?
I don't want to make an application that gives everyone the same answer as their 'Best Friend' app, so I'm leaving it up to you to argue and choose whether or not it would be a similar or different scenario. For some people (take me, for example) it would be different. Personally, I am so not a party goer, but when I do go out, I like to bring with me friends who bring out the fun in me (which is hard, but not impossible). This wouldn't be the same as my best friend, BUT this community is about ALL of you, not just a handful of individuals.
If you honestly think they can both hold different results (especially if I make the application particularly different so that the results should vary... *crosses fingers*) then let me know through the poll! Feel free to argue your answer or place an opinion or whatever if you feel it will sway me to decide, regardless of the votes. I always like a good debate!
