First Snag: Changing the Wedding Date
So, we were hoping to get married on Thursday, July 14th at Leach Botanical Garden. However, work hell kept us from getting a hold of the lady in charge of marriage contracts. I finally talked to her today... to find out that the 14th is already booked. So is the 21st. (Those were my first and second choices.) So is most of July, in fact.
Darn. I was really hoping to have it on a Thursday. Andy suggests seeing if a Wednesday is open, but that's right in the middle of most people's normal work week, and so much of our guest list is traveling I feel like if I put it any earlier in the week than Thursday we'll end up having a wedding that only a tenth of our guest list can actually attend. I was already apprehensive about Thursday! Bah!
Ah, well. Back to the drawing board. Let's see how August and June look...
