~a little rant before I go on writing
I've never written a story's ending before writing the rest of it. Frankly, it's one of the more frustrating happenings I've experienced, because instead of getting that satisfaction from finishing it there's only exhaustion and a sense of lacking. Now I've gotta go back and add things, like some major scenes that'll probably be another thousand words each, and then go through the whole thing again and change the wording on pieces I'm not happy with. (And then go through it one last time for spell-check.) I've already worked on this for 11 hours today! :( Hopefully it'll be done by tonight so I can continue with my bigger fic and then maybe work on my painting some more before school starts. Argh
