Halure's blossoms were beautiful. The group had managed to get a good position to watch the tree blooming and after some convincing, Raven had gotten Yuri to agree to letting him carry him up.
Yuri had lost the remaining use of his legs in the past month, permanently confining him to the wheelchair or Raven's arms. He wasn't too happy about it, but aside from some jokes and poking fun at Raven and his age; he kept telling Raven that he was going to break his back one of these days if he kept up his habit of carrying of Yuri.
“I'll be fine,” Raven said. “You comfy? Should I get you a-”
“Shut up, old man,” Yuri replied. He settled into his seat, wordlessly leaning against Raven's side as he crossed his arms. “I want to watch the tree in peace.”
But there was a smile playing about his lips as he said that.
