Squee! Post - A Good Day to Die Hard
So I've got this weird love of Bruce Willis. I just love the movies he's in, because I find him so entertaining (and hilarious). And A Good Day to Die Hard is another one of his movies that I love (and, LOL, that I could not stop laughing through)
Basically, this Die Hard follows John McClane to Russia, where he thinks he's going to, I don't even know, tell Jack (his son) that he loves him even if he is a huge screw up who's in jail (Jack, not John) and they haven'e spoken for like 3 years or something.
Of course that isn't the story (when is it ever?). You see, Jack is a McClane through and through, and he's actually a CIA agent who has spent the last 3 years in Russia undercover (hence the no speaking ... or, you know, cos John's kids kind of hate him but then realise how kick ass and awesome he is and remember they love him).
Enter John, who screws up said 3 year undercover mission, or does he? (not really, in the end the McClane's totally save the day, and I think if John hadn't been there the mission would've really failed ... shocking I know!).
The part where John and Jack first see each other again is great, mainly because of John muttering how Jack is just going to make it worse for himself by running, and the proceeds to chase after Jack (and the bad guys chasing him) was probably one of my favourite parts. And, LOL, when John offers to hug Jack (they're not a hugging family, guys, okay?) or when he tells Jack he can cry, cos every man needs to cry (although if I had a piece of metal sticking through my abdomen, you bet I'd be crying).
Also, Jai Courtney is pretty (and OMG such good casting because I could see him being related to Bruce Willis).
So yeah, if you're a Bruce fan, or a Die Hard fan, go and see this movie. You will thoroughly enjoy it.
PS - OMG!!!! Did you guys see the new Iron Man 3 trailer? I CAN NOT wait for this you guys. RDJ is another actor who I love watching!
