A month of school left. Just 3 more weeks of classes and a week of finals. This is crazy, I'm graduating next year, or rather 2 semesters.
I've got this math exam this Friday that I've started to study for yesterday, but I'm hoping I can do really well on this exam so that I can pretty much keep my grade. This exam shouldn't be that bad, but I know if I don't study then I'm not going to do well on it.
I'm really looking forward to the summer. I can't wait to finally move out and live on my own in Seattle, even though it's only for two months, but still... considering that I've lived with my parents my whole life... you have to admit that it's going to be a quite of an experience for me.
So far things are just kind of mellow with school and work. I'm thinking of quitting my job at OLC this June... my plan is to stay at school for the majority of the week at school next semester. Since I'll be taking math 350 (Advanced Calculus), I would want to spend a lot of time at school studying for that class. I need at least a B in this class to get into the Master's program at my school. I've already planned out the classes I want to take for the fall: Advaned Calculus, Diversity in High Schools, Technology in High Schools, Music & Film, Swimming, and Aerobic Exercise. That all adds up to 14 units, so I think it would be a good schedule since I would spread my classes out to everyday, Monday through Friday where as right now I just have Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The reason why I'm taking two knesiology classes is because I feel so out of shape. I really want to feel like I'm in shape and not have to worry about being tired all the time. But I've noticed that I haven't been watching what I eat, and that's really bad. I don't normally eat healthy food and I'm started to feel disgusted by what I eat. It's hard when you don't have time and you're rushing so you just end up eating out... and I really wished that I could cook at home, but I don't know how and don't really have time either.
Today I felt really good though about eating... I had bought and brought to school a ready made cereal bowl and orange juice for breakfast and I brought a microwavable Campbell soup cup for lunch. It wasn't a lot and now I'm hungry again, but I'm just going to wait until I get home to eat dinner. It would be better for me that way because I normally eat a lot, which is not good for my stomach as well since I can feel it stretching sometimes.
Anyways, enough about food. This weekend is Faces of Fullerton. I'm wondering if anyone I know is going... It would be fun to hang around in Fullerton for that day. My work is hosting a booth so I'm probably going to stop by there or might have to work a few shifts. We'll see tomorrow when I talk to my boss.
Oh I forgot to mention, Dr. Edwards was telling me that she would like to offer me a workshop leadership position for her workshop classes. I figured that this would be a really good idea and experience for me so I might consider it this fall, and it's a perfect opportunity since it would be work on campus and I wouldn't have to drive anywhere else.
Enough for now, I'll update at another time, and hopefully soon.
