[Roxas has been running for three days now. He's shown up on the network now and then, but not for very long -- just a burst of light and a new surrounding before another plunge into darkness, flashes of him running all over the ship before his Sphere flicks off again

[she doesn't know Roxas all that well, but jesus christ that did not look like fun. besides, he's a friend of Nill's, so it's. probably better if he's not in horrific pain or anything.]

[flicks a glance up at the Sphere as the robots lead him down the hall]

.. they haven't come for you, have they? The robots. [glances away again, looking straight ahead]

Take care of Nill.

[maidenofblade]

... No. I think I'm safe. [nonetheless, she looks much more on-guard than usual.]

I will. [she pauses for a moment, considering.] ... Do you want any -- [there's a very slight pause in here; she was going to say "help", but she's doubting there's much she can do to help on a broad scale. he seems like an independent person anyway.] -- thing brought to you?

[twilightfell]

Good. At least they're not imprisoning everyone.

[raises his eyebrows the tiniest bit, considering this.] Don't know what I'll need yet, since I don't know what cell I'll be in. But I'll take you up on that once I do.

... I never got your name.

[exstinctor]

[ Smoking again, he watches the proceedings idly with his hands in his pockets and his head tilted. A pity, really; he was hoping for a grander face-off. He's not normally one for watching, but then, you have to take your pleasures where you can. ]

Tsk.

Tired of fighting so soon?

[twilightfell]

With no sleep, I'd collapse eventually. Decided against running the risk of injury.

... and yeah. You do get tired, after five years.

...Roxas?

[it's like the people he knows are being picked off one by one]

Damnit, what the hell is it with this ship?!

... Riku.

[actually looks up at the Sphere, then jerks and stumbles when the robots abruptly drag him around a corner, and it takes him a moment to get his balance back]

.. I don't know. You're -- safe?

[dawnward]

[Riku's already up and moving. he knows that fighting them won't do anything, but...]

I'm fine. The robots haven't bothered me at all. Go figure.

[twilightfell]

.. which means you're free.

[Roxas had switched to speaking with Tyki for the duration of his short stay in the security station, but Riku may have had a chance at glimpsing the front desk and its dark stains before Roxas and his Sphere were whisked away. He's headed for his cell now, and he grits his teeth.]

Riku, whatever you're doing, don't come here. I'm going to test it from the inside out. If Keyblades or portals won't work, then nothing you do will. Focus your energy elsewhere.

Roxas.

[Sora visibly struggles with what to say. He's never seen his Nobody look so broken down. They're a long, long ways away from their dreams, now]

You'll be okay. We'll be okay.

[twilightfell]

... [huffs a breath, then manages just the faintest of smiles for his Other.]

Yeah. 'm just exhausted, that's all.

[dawn_is_coming]

Maybe you can rest a little bit. Maybe you'll get a suite!

[spares him a smile, though it looks painful with a face as bruised as his]

... [gives a hoarse, very strained chuckle. he's on his way there right now.]

A cell fit for a king, huh?

[no such luck. he's tossed into his cell moments later and locked in the dark. There's only darkness on the Sphere, but it picks up Roxas's loud sigh.]

I wonder what the captain meant by temporary. [wastes no time in using a simple Fire spell, keeping a little flame hovering over his palm as he looks around]

[ Sasuke briefly looks up from his sudoku puzzle book. ]

.. that would be the point.

[he's just lounging around in the total dark. light is for sissies.]

So what's the catch to all this? It can't be as easy as sitting in the dark for a few days, or however long we're stuck here.

Meals twice daily and a voice attacking every insecurity you possibly could have in the wee hours of the morning. Primitive, but effective, means of creating unease. Nothing much more than that.

[there's silence for a moment, then a ragged laugh rings out in the dark.] Psychological torture. They're trying .. they're torturing us. This can't be happening.
