Come on spring

Feb 22, 2010 11:44

The plants janestarz gave us a year ago refused to be dead and started to sprout. Feeling mercy for their plight I repotted them, so now I've got two pots of sprouting bulbs on my windowsill.

On Saturday while driving home from the event I got a blast of sunlight from the setting sun.

Though each season has it's beauty, and I can be entranced by the view a foggy morning over snow-covered fields, I'm quite happy spring is starting to arrive.

Further update: the job is winding towards it's end. My contract runs until April 1st, but there isn't enough work for us temps to be done. This means that as of last week I get to sit at home while still being paid :)

The extra time this gives me is especially welcome right now. steelweaver started her new job last week, and is working 32 hours for a while. I've taken over emails and orders for The Queen Ring to free up her time for this. Also, I needed to prepare quite a lot of stuff for the event last weekend.

The event went well. Many thanks to janestarz and woran for helping out. It made a big difference :)

Next up on the agenda: Phantasium in March, and Charm and the Elf Fantasy Fair in April.

life, tqr
