Well father in-laws surgery went well and he had to stay with us, our lives were not our own for the 4 weeks. Then I got a call in the 3rd week an aunt had died. My Uncle wanted to attend the funeral. So I drove down to Indiana to relief him. Phone calls from my father who is in the rehab center wanting to go to the doctor and I thought this was going to be easier. It was but not by much. At least my uncle got a little break.
Upon driving back into Detroit on I-94 I thought I hit or ran over something or something fell off the truck. Felt it thur the floor boards. A thump thump. A few minutes later driving thru an underpass in the dark rain, heard a pow pow POW. Gun shots. These had to be with in a 100 feet or less. Not a rifle, but some sort of hand gun. Whether it was on top or the other side of the over pass it was close. The next day I checked the tuck for any bullet holes. None to could be found. Welcome home.
To do something fun and not even Apple II I went searching for a song I heard some 30 some years ago. I found it on youtube. It did not sound quite the same. Maybe it is the cheap computer speaker. But I liked the remake of another group doing it. The band was The Beacon Street Union.

It is a toss up between the original (TBSU) and this remake since it has visuals I thought I would post it as well.
Now I taste the tears
