White crystals form cotton clouds on the ground.
All life paused with the frost,
Trees let leaves take flight with wind,
Wind cold and numb, swift and comforting.
Another white season has come,
But you are still my only one.
One who keeps me warm at night,
Who'd rather start a play-fight.
Spoils to death relentlessly,
In case I'd trade in for a puppy.
Doesn't quite know when to quit,
Like this blizzard, ongoing as we sit.
The one who gives me no regret,
Makes me speechless, makes me forget
Why I felt helpless about this day, and
Reminds me how I'm always loved, in
Too many cute ways.
