Thanksgiving was very pleasant and low-key. It was a very casual affair with no fussing this year. It has become part of my daily routine to recognize the things that I am thankful for and Thanksgiving was no different.

I joined the crazies again this year and went shopping early on Friday morning. I was out until 5pm and managed to complete all of my holiday shopping. That leaves me time for baking! Yay! As usual, I'm very much in the holiday spirit and have been listening to holiday music and decorating for 2 weeks already. I'm just waiting for a good snowfall.

Edwin arrived home on Saturday and it was wonderful. As much as I was settling into my nights and weekends alone, I was missing him very much. We spent some time at Eric and Amanda's on Saturday night and then just laid about for the rest of the weekend. His father prepared a tasty belated Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday night. Carley and Michelle were there, it was nice. Carley beat me at Scrabble, Michelle beat me at Yahtzee and Edwin beat me at Scrabble later in the night. I was not at my best for board games that night, I guess. Even so, it was still tons of fun.

As far as school goes, I'm finished with Physiology and Anatomy. I will be finished with Pathology this week and that will be the end of my lectures. I have Cranial-Sacral this weekend and Carpal Tunnel the weekend after which will be the end of my weekend classes. Next weekend I'm in the clinic for two 6 hour shifts and that's the end of clinic as well. The basic exam is in two weeks. I really should start studying for that. My final practical and two remaining event hours still need to be completed. After that, all that's left is the therapeutic exam in about a month and a half and then...I'm done. Whatever shall I do? Actually, I can't wait for a bit of a break for I start preparing for the National exam.
