Author's Notes: First time writing Twilight fanfic. Hope I didn't ruin it. :)
Smooth skin, warm, soft. Inviting eyes, embracing arms. An alluring smile and a melodic voice.
And a pulse.
A pulse you can hear like it as loud as a drumbeat, the swoosh and thump of blood coursing through veins, arteries, and valves. Blood more far more enticing then any you have encountered in your lengthy past. The mere smell of it pours through you like the blood itself pours through her, itching your every nerve and instinct. It goes against everything your being tells you to resist it; your mind simply screams at being denied something so wonderful.
Despite this, you happily pull her closer. You press your cool lips against the searing skin of her throat, basking as the heady scent envelopes you, tempting you.
And you do nothing more. For you know that a life time, many life times, of this aching temptation is far more incredible then one possible brief moment of satisfaction.
