Author's Notes: Don't own any of this, just borrowing it all from Stephenie Meyer, but you already know that. It's quite short, so please for give, but also enjoy and comment. Let me know what you think! =) Sorry if I am spamming all of you, too. I've posted this here, twlight_fics, and on my own journal. I'm not sure if there's an easier less spamful way of doing such a thing =P If there is, please let me know.
the sun is up,
the sky is blue.
it's beautiful,
and so are you.
He could feel the green grass beneath him; his skin was hard yet sensitive to the touch. Not a single shard poked his pale, smooth skin in any irritable way but his bare back grew familiar with every single blade of grass. His ears picked up on the sound of the mating birds, the wind rustling the leaves of the trees, her slow and steady breathing pattern, her thumping heart, he could virtually hear everything. Though his eyes weren’t open, he could see the light through his shut eyelids, it was all around him - and for the most part he was the light. The smell of the meadow in itself was enticing, the scent of the water, the grass, freesias. Though of course where the freesias emitted from was a scent entirely its own. The remembrance of the taste of her was one he knew he wouldn’t be able to forget. He didn’t want to forget it; just that small taste had been enough, so short a time ago that night in the ballet room.
Bella, he thought to himself as he opened his eyes and turned his head to the side, his topaz colored eyes meeting her deep brown orbs. She was already staring at him, clearly still not adjusted to the sight of him in such a natural state of being. The right corner of his lip slid up just a bit, advertising his pearly whites ever so slightly, forming that crooked grin that she adored to no end. Almost immediately she smiled back, blinking a few times as she moved over more on the grass to get closer to him, turning her body to snuggle against his.
She was having her own strange feelings thanks to her senses though none as strongly as his. It was interesting how they were in the exact same area yet each experiencing something equally as different. The sight of his body shining was breathtaking and hard to take her eyes off of. The sun shone bright above them and her back felt overly heated while the front had the sensation of being cold from the temperatures radiating off of his marble skin. She brought a hand up to trail along his side, breathing in the aroma that was Edward, even his scent smelled beautiful, it was enticing. Leaning back she moved her head up, to see that grin still in place, she chuckled softly before sliding up a little, placing a chaste kiss on his lips. Which was new for her, going for a more subtle route rather than flat out attacking him.
“I love you, Edward,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper; but she knew he could hear - he could always hear.
edward,
