More cat silliness
Felix is such a sweetheart, he slept the whole night through beside me. A defenite progress from last time when he would randomly pounce on my feet when I moved in my sleep. I woke around six in the morning from having a cat sniffing my face. He seemed to approve and went back to sleep right after. Weird.
I so wish somebody with a camera had been present when I was eating breakfast. I was sitting at the kitchen counter when Felix climbed up in my lap. "Okay, he wants a cuddle" I thought. But then he continued to climb; he wanted to ride on my shoulder.
Now, Felix has grown into a pretty large cat, and I'm a pretty small person. I ended up with a purring stola. Feet and tail hanging down on one side of my neck while he was butting his head against my chin on the other side. All while I was trying to eat. I never have experienced this with any other cat.
I'm also pretty sure you have to be a cat to fully appreciate the potential of an empty basket.
