First week of classes
I'm a few days into the first day of classes and I'm still not unpacked! I have the small excuse of not getting here until Sunday, but I really can't wait to be done with unpacking. Its so inconvenient to have to go rummaging about in boxes to find the scissors or whatever.
I was up at the Shore last week, a sort of last break before coming back, and it was lovely. I got to do most of the things I wanted. The first few days were a little lonely, but the end of the week picked up. I got to go home for a bit to see one of my good friends for the day. We went out to lunch, did some shopping (I came away with a cute dress from Forever 21!) and reminisced. It was really nice.
And then my Cousins came for a visit, which was a great surprise because I had no idea they were going to be there this week. I managed to see them almost every summer, and it would be sad to miss them. We went for a walk on the beach the night they got there and saw the baby jelly fish on the edges of the tide pools glowing in the dark! I love bio-luminescence. If you looked closely at the ground it was like seeing blue-green stars.
Got to see some cool beach effects from Hurricane Bill as well.
