Yesterday
I got a call from the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission. I filed a suit against Circuit City because they would not accommodate or work with me to make things better for me, which in turn made me quit. The lady told me she thought I could get $1000! My reason was not to get money, it was to make someone realize that disabled folks deserve equal treatment and reasonable adaptations to handle a job.
The other thing is, my friend Heidi went on Monday to have her gall bladder out. It's a common surjery, and is outpatient. She came home on Monday night, and overnight experienced a lot of pain. She called 911, and was in the ER last I heard. I hope she's ok...
