We are okay!!
Although habe been without power since Friday night, it just came on again a little while ago. The road to Tamworth is flooded so I can't get there just yet, hopefully tomorrow though.
Ron's mum has three freezers full of meat and without power they wouldn't stay good for long, so we moved them to Steve's house because his house had power due to being on the same grid as the old hospital, now nursing home.... Anyway she was in panic about that, which leads me to the point that if you are going to hoard food for the apoclips, please make sure it doesn't need to be kept cold, unless we are also heading for an iceage at the same time.
Meanwhile I was stressed about doll production, which cannot happen in high humidity or with no electricity.. but I feel more confident now. Now I can finally dry my washing too.
Most of the weekend was spent listening to a battery-radio and reading books, my ownly regret that the book I picked was crap and I have chucked it about halfway through.
Hope everyone had/is having a great time at the Dolpa in New York, or are celebrating the Queens (but not really) Birthday, which is a public holiday here, while we deal with the aftermath of a natural disaster here in NSW;)
