General Life Update Stuff
We went to the bank to sign the papers for the home-loan today... we're going with ANZ, because the mortage broker managed to talk them into giving us the same rates as the Perm would have if the legal team had gotten their act together for the end of the financial year. Settlement is May 31, and money should change hands by then.
In the name of good housekeeping we have set up a spreadsheet to keep track of our expenses... or rather, to learn to remember to sit down and enter the details every day so that we can keep track of our expenses.
Managed to get Ron to clean the fishtanks today while I sorted the washing and vac'ed the floor.
Still waiting to hear from Greg about whether he will give me the molds or not, but I have arranged a rough date with Kaye for a little workshop in moldmaking and casting. As soon as I hear from Greg I will order my supplies and then I'll be off on the quest for knowledge and mad skillz.
Otherwise plodding along with the original doll, which I am cutting and reassembling at regular intervals, currently working on the knee-joints.
Got some model kit heads in the mail yesterday, a 22" version of Lara Croft by Exousia Studios. They are probably a bit small to use for bjd's, but fun to play with nonetheless, and a reasonable likeness to AJ ~ will be fun to compare them to the Minimee heads, too.
I need some food.
