(no subject)
this not sleeping thing is getting really old.
Hung out with Nathan last night. went to dinner at the rootbeer stand. seemed like the perfect place to go the last week of summer before school starts. we rented two movies, but only watched like a half hour of the first one cuz Rob called, and his band was playing on campus, so i made nathan fo check it out with me.
im not really sure why he called, considering that he didnt show up to any of the stuff i invited him to, and then i didnt hear from him for two weeks. but whatever. he said to call him tonight. dunno if i will or not. his band was playing all covers of all songs i didnt like, so nathan and i went for like a 2 hour walk through campus, and circled back to where rob was every half hour or so. It worked out pretty alright.
finished the armwarmers and legwarmers for the owl outfit for the show and started working on the sweater vest. its going to be red with a black squid on it. the fashion girls are going to hate me more than ever. I have also decided i hate doing ribbing. it takes forever, or seems like it does. i keep trying to remind myself how awesome it felt to see all of my books lined up on the table at my show last fall, knowing how hard i had worked to make them all. I'm hoping that if i can hold onto that feeling, spending 8 hours a day or so in the labs this fall wont feel so bad. if only there was more time in a day....
in any account, my bike arrived back in kalamazoo last night, and i intend to ride it all over tomorrow. now that its kitted, its fast as shit, and reliable, and it feels sooooo good. I wonder if dave has oil for me....
